Victoria Lesbian Seniors Care Society
We are the Amazing Women of VLSCS, aka the Victoria Lesbian Seniors Care Society. VLSCS supports lesbian health and social needs on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. We ensure safe, accessible, welcoming spaces for social interaction and build community through public education and social action. VLSCS has been an official entity since 1994.
The Victoria Lesbian Seniors Care Society is open to amazing lesbians of all ages. We are primarily a volunteer organization. The Amazing Women of VLSCS present over 50 events throughout the year, including Coffee Talk; Movie, Games & Social Nights in James Bay; the Gala, a ritzy, glitzy annual affair for almost 25 years; and an assortment of women’s dances, concerts, and special events.
