Oh boy, we’re excited for Get OUT Cabaret at Intrepid’s Metro Studio Theatre. This is the official preview night for OUTstages, Victoria’s own queer theatre festival that runs in late June, and it’s a great chance to get a sneak peek at what’s in store for next month. Hosted by Vivian Vanderpuss and Eddi Licious, it’s bound to be a wild time – get your tickets at Intrepid during the week or order them online at Ticket Rocket. - CRUSH 15

Sexuality Salon is hosting another Sex Positive Book Club and this month they’re reading Ask: Building a Consent Culture, an anthology edited by Kutty Stryker. Bring your thinking caps and books, and get ready to talk about consent – just in time for the consent live show the next day!

Island Sexual Health, CRUSH Collective, and the Victoria Events Centre are working together to bring us Sexuality Salon: Live Talk Show with Tunille Geib to discuss consent in our daily lives, community, and in popular media. - EVES OF DESTRUCTION: ROTTEN APPLES, HARD CORES DOUBLEHEADER
Roller derby season was off to a fantastic start for the Eves of Destruction, with the Margarita Villains and The Hard Cores bringing home two wins back in April. We’re ready for more, and the Rotten Apples and The Hard Cores are ready to deliver. The Rotten Apples will be facing off against Saltspring Island’s The Tempest, and The Hard Cores are returning to go head-to-head with the Aftershocks Roller Rebels. Games are at 5:30 and 7:30pm at the Archie Browning Sports Centre.

Ambit Gender Diversity Consulting is partnering up with Mothering Touch to offer an educational workshop for care providers to learn about the skills and knowledge needed to support gender diverse families.
